COVID-19 Policy: Barbara Zair Bowen

  • I will contact you prior to your appointment to confirm that you: are not running a temperature, have not developed a cough, do not feel unwell, and have not knowingly been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms

  • If you feel unwell or come into contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, please cancel your appointment

  • If I feel unwell or learn that I have come into contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, your appointment will be cancelled as soon as possible

  • Client who are shielding (those that fall into high risk category and have been contacted by the NHS) should not attend for treatment

  • Clients falling into the moderate risk category but are not shielding will need to establish if the benefit of the treatment outweighs the risk

  • Please use hand sanitiser or wash your hands upon arrival and departure. Paper towels will be provided. I will do the same

  • All your belongings (other than shoes) will be placed in a box with a lid on it for the duration of the treatment. This will be sanitised after each use

  • All items of equipment used by a client in the treatment room will be wiped down after use at the end of the treatment. This includes the treatment couch, chair, door handles, pen, plastic box for personal belongings, floor and bathroom facilities, if used

  • I will use a vapouriser which contains a natural oil which can help reduce germs in the atmosphere

  • A clean blanket will be used for each client. It will be removed from the treatment room immediately after each treatment and will be safely stored until washed at the end of the day. You may bring your own clean blanket should you prefer

  • Items that are deemed non-essential and are not easily wipeable will be removed from the treatment room for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes the treatment couch cover and leaflets

  • Payment is requested by bank transfer

  • All client information will be stored manually and not electronically
